Quick Start Guide

Your first 10 minutes on Remora. From sign-up to tracking your first trade.

No credit card required. Every new account gets a 14-day free trial with full access to all features.

Get Up and Running

1 Create Your Account

Head to the sign-up page and create an account with your email. You'll get a 14-day free trial with access to every feature — no credit card needed. After confirming your email, you're dropped straight into the dashboard.

2 Set Up a Watchlist

Open the Screener and click Manage Watchlists. Create a new watchlist (e.g., "Tech Megacaps") and add the tickers you want to trade — AAPL, NVDA, MSFT, or whatever fits your strategy. Watchlists let you run screens across your target names in one click instead of entering tickers every time.

3 Run Your First Screen

Select your watchlist from the dropdown, then choose a strategy type:

Set your filters: target delta range (e.g., 0.20 - 0.35), minimum DTE (e.g., 30 days), and minimum annualized yield. Click Screen and results appear in seconds. For more detail, see the Screener Guide.

4 Analyze a Result

Click any row in the results table to open the detail modal. Here you'll see everything you need to evaluate the trade:

Use these data points to decide whether the risk/reward fits your criteria before committing capital.

5 Log a Trade

Found a trade you like? Click Add to Portfolio in the detail modal, select which portfolio to add it to (or create a new one), and confirm. The position is now tracked with your entry price, Greeks at entry, and expiration date. You can also log trades manually from the Portfolio page if you entered a position outside the screener.

6 Track Your Portfolio

Navigate to the Portfolio page to see all your open positions, current P&L, and upcoming expirations. Close trades when you exit a position to update your realized returns. Head to Analytics for deeper performance metrics: equity curve, monthly P&L heatmap, win rate, and average return per trade. See the Portfolio Guide and Analytics Guide for full details.

7 Morning Briefing

Enable the morning briefing from your Account settings. Each trading day, you'll get a summary of positions expiring this week, assignments to watch, and notable IV changes in your watchlist. It's the fastest way to stay on top of your book without manually checking every position.
