Claude web, Desktop & Cowork

  1. Open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Click +, then Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the URL above; leave Client ID / Secret blank.
  4. Click Add, then Connect, and sign in with your Remora login.

Connectors are account-level, so adding it once on the web also makes it appear in Claude Desktop and Cowork. (On Team/Enterprise, an Owner adds it under Admin settings → Connectors and each member connects with their own Remora login.)

Claude Code

If you're signed in to Claude Code with your Claude account, just run /mcp — a connector you added on the web is already there. Otherwise add it directly:

Then run /mcp, pick remora, and choose Authenticate.

Advanced: local install (pip) & other MCP clients

For Cursor, VS Code, offline use, or any client that runs a local (stdio) MCP server, install the heyremora package and point your client's config at it. This path uses a personal API key and works today.

Get your API key
Log in to Remora, go to Account → API Keys, and generate your key. It's shown once — keep it safe.

Install with pip install heyremora, then add the Remora server to your client's config file (example: Claude Desktop):
